Research Interests: Exploring the role of cell signaling pathways on the development of glioma
The long-term objective of the research project to be led by Yongjian Tang is to improve the therapy of IDH1-mutant astrocytoma (Astro IDH) by understanding and targeting the process of alternative lengthening of telomeres (ALT).
